Turns out the wife has been hiding the tax rebates  Grin

Anyways, I am getting sick of fs2004's really odd road, rail road, river, and coastlines. I have done a few experiments navigating by default road textures and sure enough, they lack accuracy. I am looking into Ultimate Terrain to right these annoying faults.

So the question is, is it really worth it? One thing I am worried about is autogen. I have the Silver Wings autogen and terrain freeware mod which makes the world very beautiful to fly over but it has lost all semblance of reality. How is the autogen with UT with no additional mods? Feel free to post pictures of aspects you like or dislike about UT.

EDIT: Okay, I keep seeing a lot of comments about REX for fs2004, is it the same type of thing as UT or something else?
