Rather than expanding on the subject via a post in the Flight thread. The link Xpand provided there had me interested. I saw all the videos both provided by the site and a bunch more at youtube. I also downloaded the demo and am going to try it out soon. While I know its far from finished,i'm a little confused. It looks like it will be a great sim for flying but the back story suggests some sort of very imersive game requiring the "rebuilding" of the planet as it suggests The spaceship called Outerra comes to Earth after a few thousand years to discover how the human race was wiped out or something along those lines. So many questions. If your going by the story (back story) then where would a Cessna or Apache come into play with the planet getting a fresh start.  Will it be a Story mode for this portion of the game and a "sim" mode for flying and open sorce development of aircraft? I have a thousand questions and could go on and on. Just seeing all the breath taking scenery and the mountain flying with the Cessna was amazing. IMO while FSX or 04 aren't going anywhere for a long time. If the videos are anything like the finished project when its ready for release,has the potential to be a M$ sim killer. But then I think of the epilog to Outerra and I get confused...Guess I will have to wait and see. Looks like its been in development for a few years now. With the release of the demo, I wonder how long it will be before the final product is released......I'm gonna shut up now and go play with the demo
