I'm on the hunt for all the payware I lost that didn't survive on my old HD. I just remembered I own Alphasims V22 Osprey. I know I had an account with them when I made the purchase. I googled and found the site but it looks as it is for sale and there are no links to point me in the right direction. If they were bought out who owns em now and would my login work for them to get my plane back or is it a right off at this point?

They are now "Virtavia" Smiley

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

Well maybe, maybe not. Try logging in & if it doesn’t work flick them an email telling them your details.

Half of the Alphasim stuff is freeware now anyway.

I found them but their site is still in development so there is no where to log on to see. I found the V22 for sale at other sites but again not to log on and try and retrieve it. Guess i'll have to wait Sad

Mike is talking about the "V" 22 Osprey, not the F 22 Raptor Smiley

It's listed as the Virtavia - Bell-Boeing V-22 Osprey now.........if you get it back, Mike shoot me a PM. I don't know if it's out there for download somewhere already, but I got the VTOL gauge by Rob Barendregt to work with the Virtavia model.

It would not take off or land vertically when I bought it, so it got mothballed until I found this gauge.

Rob Barendregt made a custom gauge for the Alphasim V-22, http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php?63120-FSX-Gauge-VTOL-Hover-... It was designed exclusively for the Alphasim one, but (if my memory servers me correctly) it can be easily adapted to the Virtavia V-22.  He plans on making it for the Virtavia.

Yep, that's where I heard about the gauge in the first place.......I use Yahoo for my E-mail, so I can't post at SOH, or I would have asked about it.

So I had to figure it out for myself.....

I don't think i'm getting her back unless I re-buy it from these new guys as my Alphasim account isn't accessible with their site still in development. However,I seem to recall when I did have it, I never had a problem with its flight dynamics. Maybe the version I had was a corrected version prior to me buying it. Not sure. Still waiting on the site to be finished so I can try them. I did download their F22,horrible in my opinion. Glad it was free Grin
