Nuff said Smiley

....who's round is it anyway Smiley

Pleased to be chosen again. Putting the shot together and getting my imagination together on a screenshot is extremely satisfying. Getting into the top ten is a great bonus.

Wow no votes for me! Less votes than people who totally broke the rules .....that's fair. I won't bother in future.

Also Adrianmonk if I was a developer I would be furious that my donated products were going to people who have cheated in a competition.

Rules are rules. If u have 5 good players and 1 terrible one it doesn't justify the fact the 5 good took steroids. What a stupid agreement.

And not to sound like a sore loser but the least 2 imaginative entries scores the highest ! Neither are anything futuristic or even something we've not seen a million times before. It was the same last month, the shot that came second was a far superior shot.

Screw this it's not worth the effort.

Ok Dave, the contest description said anything that first flew or is still flying in the 21st Century. Hobo's photo is very imaginative because both the B-52 and KC-135 have been in continuous active service for over 50s years with the original operator, the United States Air Force and are slated to continue their service for at least ten more years or more.

B52 first flew in the 20th Centenary not the 21st, out of the two Hobos is the better but it still missed the point, the other is a 747 landing.....not like there's not 500 shots of that on here.

While there are plenty of 747s out there, this one was built (and or revamped) in the 21st century, for the 21st century. Delivering parts for Boings new Dreamliner.....In this century.....Did I miss the point of the contest?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_747_Large_Cargo_Freighter

Or perhapse I would of faired better posting the police car from Blade Runner?  I kept my shot within the realm of today....The 21st century, keeping within it the theme on which this months contest was based. I feel everybodys shots here were great. I also have never, and will never say anything negative about anyones images on this forum. While I understand your upset, I don't feel there is a need to belittle the rest of the finalists here. I have never been a finalist here. The next time I am might be months or even a year or two. I made it and my father was proud of me,so was my wife. Just something I do did and will continue to do for the pure enjoyment of it. So,thanks Dave. Thanks for destroying this for me,this one little moment,in the 21st century........

Yes the B-52 did first fly in the 20th Century BUT you must have missed the line that said, "or still serving in the 21st Century."

It still missed the spirit.

You broke the rules then argued that you were in the right, I don't see where you have a leg to stand on and comment.

EX-member? Shocked

Anyways,he didn't break the rules,he actualy followed them exactely.

The only requirement was that the aircraft was serving in the 21st century or beyond, not when it was introduced.

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"
