Ok. So I downloaded from Steam today. I did the engine start up tutorial (and will probly do it over and over till I get it down). Went for a quick take off from the tuttorial. So far so good but PLENTY to learn. Its good to have something to occupy my mind thats new to me in light of my grandmas passing yesterday. Anyway, the problem(s) i'm having are probly easy fixes but I don't have a direction to go to get them resolved. (plus its 1 AM EST and probly need to tuck in for the night, to late to start googling). The problems are as follows.
1. The sim recognizes my Saitek X-52 but my throttle doesn't work. I found the control set up but I didn't see anything for reassinging. alot of view buttons though.
2. I wanted to check out multiplayer for the heck of it to see what there was to see but it asked me to log into my DCS account. I don't have one so I went to register. The serial number for my new sim auto pops up like it should but when i put my email addy and password in for registraition it tells me my login is wrong....Well i don't have a login yet so how could it be wrong? I'm trying to register to use the bloody thing 1st Angry
3. I've seen alot of Youtube vids of the external views but couldn't get mine to zoom out for the same effect. This one I'm sure i can figure out. In FSX I always change my external view to locked spot as I can't stand the sway and it throws my flying off. If i want a different angle in flight I just rotate my hat switch.

Guess those are my questions/problems for now. I will say this is a bit easier to learn than BlackShark. Any help in my new venture would be most helpful.

Goodnight/Good Morning fellas! And thanks in advance Wink

Mike
