I went to karpathos last few years and i wanted to fly to it in fsx but when i approachd the island it was al rectangular and not as it suppost to be, it was like two squares wer made in eachother and they thought wel that is how karpathos looks like. Does anybody know a improvement for that( freeware)?? The aurport was already updated by me also for download on simv but the island is still not good.

Here is a good resource for finding FS free scenery (2004 and X).  http://www.freewarescenery.com/fsx.html

In Greece scenery, down in the 'non airport scenery', you'll find the link to one for Greek Coastlines.

I installed it and the island(s) looks much better.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.          Igor Sikorsky

I intend to live forever....so far, so good.         Steven Wright

You know....you can just rip up a to-do list.

Just wait for the webpage to load completely.
Then click on G.
The page will "jump" to the country names starting with G. Greece appears there, as a link (because it has a lot of sceneries, so they put a link to a specific page instead of a simple list).

By the way, I'm amazed by the incredible amount of available scenery for this country  Shocked

I made once an IFR flight in FSX, starting from my home airport, Nice Cote d'Azur, landing in Athenes. 3 hours flight, with beautiful scenery all the way, even with default scenery. That was quite cool. Even the approach given by the ATC was quite scenic.  Cool I think I should download some of these Greek sceneries.

Many thanks for the reminder of that link again, Dave... Smiley...!
...(every now and again I forget about its existence!)... Shocked...!

Much of my excellent California add-on scenery comes from that source... Smiley...!

It just shows, and lists, the the particular scenery files that are available for download, for quick reference.. Smiley...!

Then we get them from Sim V...as always... Wink..!
