During our on-line Multiplayer Flight today around Southern California, Adam (wahubna) mentioned an excellent film documentary describing Van Nuys Airfield (KVNY), which I am very familiar with due to my regular Sim flights around the Los Angeles and San Fernando valley.

A truly fascinating film for anyone interested in Aeroplanes!

Title: "One Six Right" .....(16R: The active runway!)

http://www.terwilligerproductions.com/onesixright/officialsite/

The film is not free to watch outside of the USA, and the DVD to purchase is only produced in NTSC format, and not suitable for PAL format Television Receivers...

...but!...

It is available to watch on U-Tube, in 5 parts (1/5 - 5/5).
If you have some spare time to hand, it is well worth a watch!
(Parts of the sound breaks off now and again, but does not spoil the film too much).

Many thanks, Adam!

Paul.

Yeah the Meigs part is upsetting. Every time my family goes to Chicago that is what we think of. A sad thing. Still, the rest brings out the wonderful parts of flying.
