Soloist Lukas Kmit hits right note on phone intrusion

Bloody mobile phones. If that had been me I'd have grabbed it smashed it. Angry

I fondly remember the good-old-days, when if someone wanted to make a phone call whilst in a public place, they went into a telephone booth, closed the door behind them, completed their telephone conversation, opened the door, and re-emerged, without having annoyed anyone!

Now, we are surrounded by these dorks, with mobile phones buried into their feeble brains, walking aimlessly around, impervious to their surroundings, talking and gesticulating to imaginary people, within earshot of everyone else around them!
It drives me up the wall!
I HATE the bleedin' things with a vengance, and the people who use them in a public place...or in my Living Room!.... Angry...!

Paul...with a Mobile Phone in my pocket, permanently switched off, and for dire emergency use only.

I hate mobiles, I carry one because I do need it for work but I'm happy to leave it switched off whenever possible.
Fair play to Mr. Kmit for doing what he did. People should really switch their phones off at things like concerts. If I'd been in the audience I'd have done something terrible to the idiot with the phone! He'd have needed an exceptionally brave doctor to extract it Smiley Smiley Smiley

Kmit did the right thing, and embarrassed the cell owner while making the audience laugh. Today, when I was leaving work a *coworker walked right into the front of my truck while texting his wife. I stopped when he was about four paces away and watched.

*Not cow orker, co worker.   Roll Eyes

It looks a bit staged to me, but still a light moment that people will remember.
