That’s right fellow pilots! It is time to get started on our Round the world tour in a Cessna 172! While I can not promise that it will be a short journey I can guarantee that in joining us you will have a good time! Be sure to be there with us for an enjoyable time!

Information is as follows:

Who: You!

When: Saturday January 14th at 9PM EST

Where: On the RTWCessna172 server (IP is 184.168.134.206 password is Lycoming) Teamspeak server (IP is 184.168.134.206 password is Lycoming)

What: This Saturday we will begin our tour around the world, I’ll be flying a Cessna 172 you are welcome to join us in any aircraft of your choosing.

The flightplan: We will depart from KIDP (The Cessna Factory in Independence, KS) and fly a heading of 71.8 for a total distance of 448.2 Nautical Miles before landing at KBGM (Bloomington, IN).  As this is rather long leg we will plan on flying for approximately 2 hours before finding an airport along the way to land at depending on the weather and time.

Note: As many of you may be joining our servers for the first time I will be logged into the server and available to answer questions prior to the flight from the hours of 7PM EST until 9PM EST prior to the beginning of the flight.

If you view the flight plan we are going the great circle route where the greatest distance is just under 600NM.

I'd really love to do this, but I have a few questions first. Can I use the Iris Diamond Star for the flight instead of a Cessna or other similarly sized aircraft? Also, do I need to install any software to join the server, if so could someone provide a link? Thanks a lot can't wait to fly!

Haha, if only I could keep an F-16 in the air at 100 kts. I think I'll fly the C152 freeware by just flight
