Some time ago I discovered a great work of Dave Garwood on Classic Britsim.

Yesterday I took her out on a flight along the British coast.
This aircraft is just perfect with a wonderful virtual cockpit. A must have for all lovers of vintage aircraft. I tested it on FSX SP2. So far I only locked at one livery of nine. It also has a nice manual. It's absolutely professional software level but freeware.

I'd post pictures and a direct link here, but I'm not allowed to as a newby here Undecided. So just copy paste cbfsim.org into your browsers address field an then click yourself through to the Bristol Beaufighter. I'm sure you will find. Wink

Happy flying  Cheesy

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

I have the CBFS Beau & I think its one of the best freeware World War 2 aircraft for fsx. I also downloaded the paintkit so I might try repainting it. Wink

I asked Dave how to add weapons on the payload stations:

"Hi Dan

You need to set the weight for payload station 4 to 1610 lbs to get the torpedo to show. The full set of payload weights is as follows:

station.0 = 200 lb for the pilot (set by default)
station.1 = 260 lb for starboard rockets and rails. Set to 50 lb for just the empty rails.
station.2 = as above for port rockets / rails
station.3 = 200 lb for the observer / gunner
station.4 = 1610 lb for the torpedo. Set to 50 lb for just the empty cradle only.

Rockets & the torpedo are only availabe on the Mk VIc and Mk X, not the Mk VIf night fighters.

Hope that helps.

Dave."

To drop the torpedo you have to add this to a saved flight file (*.flt)

[DroppableObjects.0]
ObjectSet.0=Torpedo, 1

See manual for the rockets. Of course you can add more than 1 for several drops, alltough that's not realistic  Undecided
