Well, if you like fixing so much would you mind fixing a mistake I made with my F-15SX!?  Grin
I forgot to change the clean variant model folder name to model.clean, it doesn't show up in the FS list... I renamed it model_clean when I was testing out some stuff and I didn't want those models to appear. Because it is a beta version I pretty much released it as it was, but I forgot that one detail!  Cheesy

Up is the way to go.

I have uploaded 3 aircraft upgrades (thats what i call them anyway) to simviation. They were two mike stone twins 337 and a 404 that i added full working G1000 panels to. I also took and older beechcraft duke twin and added a combination G1000 and analog panel that could be switched during flight to help those who learning about the Garmin's but able to revert back to analog in case they get into issues or click the wrong button. After reading your rant( My apologies) you post. I would be very happy if Simviation would remove anything i have uploaded. I am no professional panel or painter maker. I understand a lot about the .cfg files and continue to learn. But after reading this your post you have my word i will never ever upload anything to this site again.

Of what small amount of things i have done adapting the stock G1000 panels in many airplanes i did get a thank you from a person at simviation. i will post it here as i say goodby to simviation. I also hope you can weed out all us horrible people who are upsetting you so much.

"Hi John,

Thanks for the G1000 updates!

Over the months I have had 2 specific enquiries about the G1000 (which means there must be quite an interest in that because very few would ever actually enquire to me about it). One guy bought a payware version but was really disappointed that not all functions worked even in that.

Are you intending to update the version for the C172 in FSX?

It would be a really great addition to have it fixed up as much as possible so functions worked as they should!! I am not sure how much can be done to it ..........

Meanwhile a BIG thank you for what you have already done. Great!

Pete Daly

From what the original poster said on another forum, it was as suspected, he had DX10 preview on.

Hey!  Don't leave!  Uploads are always accepted!  And it wasn't your fault, he had DXT10 turned on, which makes them not appear right.  They never would have got on the site if they wern't good!  And besides, last time I checked, pete was a administrator, so they must be really good if you got a thank you from him, especially since it came ith a request!

IronHand, I hope you don't allow the rantings of one deranged individual put you off on the rest of us.  SimV has some of the nicest and funniest folk I've run across.  We all (with the exception of the a$$-clown who started this thread) thank you for your contributions and hope you remain with us. May I please suggest that if (PLEASE let it be a when instead of an if!!!  PLEASE!!! Undecided)  IronHand comes back, that the admins and mods delete this insane topic and all it's posts completely.  I really don't want to lose any other fellow creators. Sad

I agree with club. Also I would suggest that if another person posts something like this that admin take it down immediately and ban the person. Just my thoughts because I don't want to lose any fellow designers either.
