The default FS9 Mooney M20 & Beechcraft B58 use, what appears to me to be, the same HSI. When you activate the tool tip over the HSI in the B58 it gives the usual instrument description plus heading and course. In the Mooney all I get is the instrument description. Is there a way to get the Mooney tool tip to display heading and course?

Where is the OAT in the B58?

TIA

They are not the same HSIs.

If you want the Baron HSI in the Mooney you can have it with a simple panel.cfg edit.

First backup the panel.cfg.

In the panel.cfg find...

gaugenn=Mooney_Bravo!HSI, ...

...and replace it with...

gaugenn=Beech_Baron!Horizontal Situation Indicator,...

Make sure the numbers all stay the same.

You will do this twice in the panel.cfg. Once for the 2D and once for the VC.

Also, there are 2 panel folders. Change both if you use both th regular panel and the IFR panel.

The OAT in the Baron is on the pilot's side panel in the VC and is not a working gauge.

I have a change for that somewhere, if I can find it I will post it here.

cheers,
Joe
