ok, so i have ade9x installed... edited an airport... now it won't compile. i keep getting a long error message(sample below... it goes on and on like that about different objects.)
i notice it is using the fsx sdk, but i have given it the location of the fs2004 one... is that a problem? if so how could i tell it to use the fs2004 one and forget about the fsx one... i tried importing the airport and then compiling it straight away to see if it was something i was adding... it still gave the error...
any sugestions? is there a specific sdk needed for ade9x?

Please confirm that ADE is starting in ADE9 mode?  If you start in ADE9 then you do not need to set a path to the SDK and BglComp.  On the other hand if you have started ADE in ADEX mode and pointed it to the FS9 SDK then you will have problems.  The XML format generated for FSX is different than the format for FS9.  The FS9 compiler will fail trying to compile XML created for the FSX compiler.

If you do not have the FSX SDK then you cannot use ADE in FSX mode.

ok, i got that going... i didn't have the environment checker installed... now that that is installed i can work... now i have a different problem. i made an airport. but since i couldn't be bothered getting the coordinates right i have ended up with the airport at N0.000 e0.000 Roll Eyes and if i move the airport location thingy it only moves the arp, and the scenery that i have put in dosen't move... is there anyway of selecting all the scenery and moving them?

Moving the ARP will not move the airport as your found out.  There is an airport move facility with ADE as part of the Pro functions.  ProKey is payware but there is a 15 day trial.  You could download it from www.airportdesigneditor.co.uk and move your airport that way.  However if you have to move it a long way you might consider putting you first effort down to experience and starting again in the right place......

hmmm... not so sure about download anything more at the moment... i think i will just see if i can make where the airport is at the moment an island... or have it as a feature that is is floating on the ocean... or put it in the air... will see... internet has just gone really slow... trying to add a pic of the airport in ade... see if there is something to make it way better to do on it... well i will get to that later...
