I would like some help trying to make a new scenery set using Google Earth Maps as FSX Ground textures.  In particular, I want to replace just 1 city in FSX using Google Earth textures.  This city is KNPA Pensacola Naval Air Station, and surrounding Pensacola city for about 25-50 mile radius around that airport.

would anyone be willing to help?

I'd start by downloading SBuilder X. It's a great tool for making photoreal scenery making tool. http://www.ptsim.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=4...

Then, you can use this tutorial to help you along: http://www.flightsim.com/kdl.php?fid=122306

I was going to give a link to the latest google tile server dll that you need in order to get the imagry from google, but that link appears to be broken. Not sure if the dll included with SBuilder will still work, but it might. If not, I'll send you mine.

If you need any help, just let me know.  Wink

trying to look at all of this is more confusing than rewiring a 69 Dodge Charger. I tried to look at the tutorial that you gave me, but there are no pictures showing up for me. so that is probably the biggest part of my roadblock.

Make sure you extract the tutorial from the zip file before opening the HTML file.  Wink If everything is in a zip file, your browser won't be able to find the images it needs to display in the tutorial.
