I noticed this new add-on in the freeware library today, I thought it was a bit odd, as it is a zipped folder with instructions in of where to download the content from. Inside the zip there is a 'read me' that states you have to download 17 folders from a dubious looking hosting website and then install them all, which is over 1.6 GB.
I did a Google search for Yellowstone National Park for FSX and the only one I can find is a commercial offering by Georender.
There are loads of torrent sites offering this scenery, which was Payware, is this the same content, as surely someone needs to investigate it's availability to the community for nothing, before putting it into the library, it all looks very suspicious.

Cheerz.  Transport Steve.

Now you have me curious, too.  The "Readme" explained that the reason or the "non-standard" methode was because of the size of the files.  In addition, you have to download and install "7ip".  Aside from getting an error when I attempt to extract the files, I first have to enter a password in the 7ip control.

Another set of data points that makes me say, "Hmmmmm....."

The issue here is that it links to an external - & therefore unreliable, site.

The file itself looks like an attempt to provide the very large file in bite size chunks - which has been split up. He uses 7ip to do this.

It looks like you have to download all the files then click on the .001 to start the decompression process.

I haven't tried it yet but I will.

Meanwhile 'scenery dude' has provided several contributions to this site and has had no complaints.
