And modest too Undecided

If you want to paint properly you will need to have a dedicated paint programme that supports layers..simple as that.

The programme you use sounds like a Jack of All Trades but is probably a master of none.

Already you are hitting problems simply because you are not painting with layers

Maybe try Gimp...not used it myself but it's popular and free.

It works perfectly for me.  Not a single problom that I've seen from it.  It gets the job done right and gets it done quick.  not a one or the other thing.  And I said it has something much like layers, just a bit diffrent.  The only probloms I've hit are because of it being too difficult a job.  For example, having to do a cloud texture for the FSX default baron or a maryland one texture for half the FS9 crew.  And didn't you read the post about finding a way around it?

And every single repaint I have made has been done in Game Maker.  it's my program of choice and I'm not changing anytime soon.  I love that thing and I'm staying with it.

And also, it has something you can't do with other programs.  Branch your work.  It let's you duplicate an image in the program, so if you make a mistake and have already saved so can't undo, you can go back to the saved duplicate and add whatever you did wrong correctly instead of saving tons of images to achieve the same thing.

Is Game maker an easy program?

Most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots because they know how easy it is.
Arguing with a pilot is like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after a while you begin to think the pig likes it.

Is Game maker an easy program?

Yes, it is VERY user friendly.  Every part of it is user friendly.  Every thing is very easy to find.  You'll pick up fast.  Even the game creation part is easy.  You don't have to type any programming. It has a little dock bay and you can just drag the programming bits to the object and it will do the programming for you.

But two cautions:
1.  It can only save games in a format that only it will open.
2. It can only save images as PNGs, so you will need to copy and paste the image to something like Paint.NET to save it.

Just so you know, i don't remember how much it costs fo rthe base program, but to get pro mode with all the functions, it costs another $20.

Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy Undecided. Looks Like I'll just have to keep on saving until the shilling raises again against the dollar Cry. Have to wait another million years for that to happen.
But when I do I will Paiiiint till the computer explodes, fix it then Continue painting Shocked

Yeah, I know.  In my paints, I just make the tail number so the user will easily recognize it over ATC.  If they want to change it, they always can to make it more realistic.

Well, here's one for my FSX tester.  If he likes it and it goes through, It should be up in a day or two.

Not for me to criticise but that registration is already in use. It's easy enough to find out, just type it in Google. http://www.airport-data.com/aircraft/N43AF.html

Why don't you use an authentic one? http://www.planespotters.net/Production_List/search.php?manufacturer=Boeing&type...
