HJG (Historic Jetliners Group) has pleasure presenting its 5th anniversary website update ...the groups first for the 2011 year... featuring another great flightline of new and upgraded files for FS2004 and FSX.

First and foremost ...HJG is proud to introduce another new classic jetliner in the form of the SUD EST CARAVELLE 10R... also known as the CARAVELLE 10B1R. The CARAVELLE 10R/10B1R first flew during January 1965 and was the 2nd of the P&W JT8D fanjet powered CARAVELLE series aircraft. This version was offered as economic alternative to the slightly larger and aerodynamically improved CARAVELLE 10B ...combining more powerful fanjet engines with CARAVELLE 6R airframe. This new product is an extension to the AFG CARAVELLE project. It comprises of 2 superb 3D models featuring both PAX and freight configured aircraft versions ...by Esa KAIHLANEN; An excellent custom 2D panel with a full suite of custom gauges and interior flightdeck views ...by Benoit GAURANT; A fantastic FDE suite... by Esa & Ari KAIHLANEN, George CARTY, and Mike MONCE, 2 high quality P&W JT8D soundpacks ...by AEROMUSICA; And a selection of 8 introductory textures featuring the liveries of classic/historic airlines from Africa, Colombia, Denmark, France, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, and Turkey covering the 1960's through 1990's era... also by Benoit GAURANT. HJG is grateful to Esa KAIHLANEN for authorization to host the great AFG CARAVELLE product line.

Secondly ...HJG is also pleased to launch an additional L1011 TRISTAR aircraft base pack file in the form of the L1011 TRISTAR 150 version. This new aircraft base pack represents the slightly superior weight of the this particular TRISTAR version over that of the standard L1011 TRISTAR 100. It is intended for use with HJG supplied L1011 TRISTAR 150 textures.

For further information regarding each of these 2 new products please review service notes posted on the "NEWS & ANNOUNCEMENTS" page of the HJG forum in response to todays website update announcement.

New texture releases for HJG's classic first generation B707, B720, and CV880 jetliner flightline include each of the following...
