I got a shirt with this instrument panel in the front. Does anybody know what plane it belongs to?

Stumped! It looks a strangely VFR cockpit, but has quite a high flap limiting speed.

Found it. My first instinct had been to look for USAF 61385, as that appears to be written in the middle of the panel. That failed.

Having trawled through a few pages of cockpit photos on google, one caught my eye with the 4 switches in the bottom left, and the unusual 3 "fire" lights in the bottom right... A Bell X-1...

81385, was a Bell X-1B. Smiley

Explains being very fast and VFR only! Grin
