Its been awhile since we've last posted an event here on Simviation, so i hope none of you folks have forgotten us. The plan is to fly into Boise before the event, or possibly the morning of. Have everyone who shows up, meet up there, then fly the approximately 100nm to McCall airport together, in one or more flights. Once there, we can all switch to bush planes or helicopters, and fly together to Big Creek airport, about 35nm away. It is a dirt strip high in the mountains, surrounded by pine trees (if you have your settings up) and hills. There is a road right next to the airport that can be used as a runway, and is a lot of fun to land on. Once there, we can hang out and people can do what they want. Thats the plan spread the word. There will be a small aircraft pack of STOL aircraft and Helicopters. And we may have a special preview for our upcoming airshow in January that will celebrate 100 years of US Naval Aviation and our 5th Anniversary putting on Virtual Airshows.
