Hello...

Since installing Windows 7 to replace my Win XP Pro, whenever I download, and extract a file like this for my FS 2004...>>>

http://www.simviation.com/phpupload/uploads/1290260362.jpg

I notice an unfamiliar Icon called; "Installer Package"...
clicking on the icon reveals the; "Error" window.

I always manually place all the extracted Folders in their correct location within the Flight Sim Folder, (never "auto-install them" if possible), but I am curious to know what function of this particular Icon is meant to perform?

Many thanks!...

I suspect you've recently installed Adobe AIR. It comes with the latest Adobe Reader 9 update. This thread explains it. http://205.252.250.26/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1238091027
