Announcing Buffalo Airways Virtual

Welcome to Buffalo Airways Virtual!

Inspired by the television show Ice Pilots NWT and our love of vintage aircraft we welcome you to Buffalo Airways Virtual. "The official VA partner of Buffalo Airways Ltd".

Through our strong partnership with the "Real World Buffalo Airways" we will bring exciting features not currently provided by other virtual airlines including a link to the Buffalo Airways Satellite Tracker so our members can keep up to date on real world operations as well as discounts to our members on Buffalo Air Wear. Once you've completed your first flight feel free to send a private message to your hub manager to get your discount code.

Once your registration is accepted we encourage you to visit the download center in your profile to access base aircraft for both FS2004 and FSX as well as Buffalo Airways liveries to get you started.

Again welcome aboard and don't forget to register for the forum and connect with us on Teamspeak3.

As of today Oct.1/2010, Buffalo Airways Virtual has been open for 2 months. During that time we have over 200 pilots and over 500 flight plans. All our flight plans come from the Real Buffalo Airways. One such flight plan is the flight they took from Yellowknife to Oshkosh for the Dc-3 75th anniversary.
Our fleet is the same as the current Buffalo Airways. DC-3 DC-4 C-46 Electra, B55. All these aircraft have the authentic Buffalo aircraft codes.
Come check us out at:

You will not be dissapointed.

Good morning... Smiley

No do not belong to any Virtual Airline, I just happen to like old Piston Pounders... Grin

As Buffalo Airways is a real operational Canadian Airline it would be awesome to have their livery for the different aircraft they operate in the Simviation Download Site... Wink

Thanks Jokerc152... Smiley

My problem is I just don't have the time to make that kind of a commitment right now and I am retired... Grin

I am looking into a motion simulator for home use which I can simulate multi-engine radials and of course single engine radials.

Lots on the market right now but am really waiting to see what this new Microsoft Flight is going to offer before I spend any money on Payware.

Oh I see well if you ever do have the time I seriously recommend it Smiley

Im guessing you were in the aviation industry then ?

Yeah i'm on the fence about Microsoft Flight as it looks more arcadish than pure flight simulation so only time will really tell :S?

This VA looks pretty good...

I'm a fan of the show (I watch it whilst 'revising' and doing my 'college work'  Wink )

I've never tried VA flying before, but my new system arrived earlier today so I might as well register and give it a go!
