Quote from Bernie:

Quote:
"All we ever want is 10 teams,

Lotus is a good name. I wouldn't want to lose them.

But in general this year has been a bit of a nuisance

because it has cost money to keep these (struggling) teams in.

It has cost a lot of money to pay for them to compete.

The bottom line is they haven't really and truly given us value for being there.

If suddenly these teams don't turn up at races then I don't think the crowds will get any smaller,

or the TV sets will turn off, or the newspapers will stop writing,

will they?"

He's right to be fair to him.
Lotus I must admit to being a team I am warming to, despite my dislike for Mike Gascogyn or however he spells it, and my general amusement for Trulli, (not enough spins to have spin watch 2010 though) Sad
But would we notice if Hispania or Virgin went? With the exception of Chandok and Glock I dont think there are drivers in any of those teams who'd be missed on the grid. I could see Chandok teaming with Heikki next year if Trulli finally realises its time to retire. And Glock is likely to end up at a bigger team, likely Renault in place of Petrov.
Hispania wont last the season, Virgin I cant see lasting the winter.

The likes of Senna and Di Grassi might put in some better performances if in season testing was brought back....

Hispania are in the pits we know i mean they are changeing drivers for yammamoto to race, he must be a pay driver as he is just terrible!

I really like lotus as a team, good to see more of Britain in the F1 apart from McLaren i just think they need to go with a more reliable engine than Cosworth and maybe a better gear box Tongue
