I would not turn down an opportunity in a Eurofighter Typhoon or Tornado GR4.

To be honest I wouldn't turn down a two hour flight in most aircraft though.

Right now I would take about anything, getting the rental has been difficult the last few months (good for the FBO, bad for me).  Ultimately, I would have to say an F-16.  I have been fortunate enough to get time in most of the other rare and warbird type aircraft that I would want.

Ok, now I've got one.  I just got to sit in a brand new PiperSport this morning.  Our FBO is the official dealer for the Midwest, and just got their first one in stock.  Hopefully I get a chance to fly one soon.

Good afternoon all... Smiley

During my more than half century of flight I have managed to own or be certified to fly many types but three are missing I would really like.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fairey_Swordfish

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bristol_F.2_Fighter

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avro_Vulcan

Have seen and admired these three aircraft most of my flying career, had relatives who flew them, know several aviators who have flown them.
But, alas there is no type certification or flight of any kind in any of my three Log Books with regards to these three aeroplanes.

They say it is a "Cruel Sea" but it is also a "Cruel Sky" when an aviator can not mount the steed of his choice and dig in his spurs while slipping the surly bonds of earth and dance the skies on laughter silvered wings.

Egads I am rambling on again... Grin

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

If I was a few pounds lighter, any one of these:

Stearman

F4U Corsair

F-14

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

It would have to be a f-18 demo at a airshow, just to see it from that perspective
