baseball is about to start, who are you going for?
I am going for the Braves, been watching em ever since I was little.
First team I watched, and it will be the last team I watch.
I am also lucky because I get to see the tribute to Bobby Cox, and I get to go to his last game Smiley

Been a Braves fan for 18 years now, and just enjoyed watching them slaughter the Cubs 16-5.  Bobby Cox was recognized by his team yesterday for holding the unofficial MLB record of ejections, 153 I believe haha.  *Tomohawk Chop*

A bit embarrassed lol I was watching at a bar so the TV's were a little ways a way, you are right, looked like it said "Howard"

I haven't followed the Braves in 4 years due to deployments so I don't know the current stars haha.  But yes he brought out the rally and crushed the Cubs hopes lol, was a nice hit.

Was also nice to see Hank Aaron toss the opening pitch  Cool

food is expensive, unless you get the all you can eat seats at Tunner field, or be lucky and get free tickets to a game where you get Box seats but cannot go because of your brothers %&@#$# open house for school.
Yes that happened to me, and that is a once in a life time opportunity for my family.

I tried to get tickets to the Braves VS Giants game this thursday.  $85 for standing room only.   Shocked

I might still be able to get some military tickets to go see them, but I might just save that money and go to a sports bar somewhere here in the Bay area and talk some crap to all the Giants fans out here haha!

*tomahawk chop*

Here's hoping Lincecum sprains his wrist or something.   Tongue

I love how my rockies decided to lose 13 of their last 14,

anyways they went over .500 and had a shot the entire way so not a bad season.

My bet is on the Giants/Braves

Terrible call that night, I was at Hooters in my Braves jersey, the only one there not wearing a Giants Jersey.  I had to swallow my pride and take some jabs from everyone there haha.  I got mine last night though, Rally to tie it and a poke into the San Francisco Bay for the win!!!  Now we take them to Georgia where we are dangerous.   Cool

I know, wish I could go to it :\
I could of gotten tickets, but they would of been Upper deck.
And I could of gotten two Field level, 17 rows back for $35 each, but don't want to be out that late, especially because I did not know my schedule for that week for work.

I just refuse to pay $85+ for tickets to a game I would have to stand through, when I can take $85 bucks to a sports bar, have just as much fun watching the game, faster service for drinks, and get way more hammered!  Grin

I don't blame ya.
That is why I try to get cheap tickets as close as I can.
Plus with the money you spend on tickets, all drinks/food ranging from $4+, including water!
Tv is just as good, plus you know if the umpires are sleeping on the calls or not...
Like every team has been facing lately.

I think Bobby messed up last time starting Brooks. And messed up Brooks mentally and lowered his morale.
I mean Brooks was shedding tears during an interview.
Brooks is not a starter...
He likes to come in and PH with the game on the line.
Look at all the games he has won for us with his bat...

I hope Bobby puts him in as a PH tonight, and let him win the game for us like he has in the past.

Yep we had our ups and downs through this season and last.

And some questionable calls to...
But at least the Braves made it to the post season with him one last time.

Ya cause the MLB is stringy about this kind of thing, like that incident with the kid and the underage drinking.. MLB claimed copyrights to that and had it removed instantly. They don't make money off of it, they want it gone.
(Until people put a single frame of it up)
