I have a PCChips P17G motherboard and an E4600 @ 2.4GHz. I want to crank the CPU to 2.8GHz or perhaps 3.0
I checked the BIOS but found no overclocking options.

Do I have to download some program to overclock or my motherboard simply does not allow overclocking?

Thanks.

I just looked up your mobo on their website, and it says that if you want to run 1333 MHz, you must OC the front-side Bus, so probably. I wonder if you just need to flash your BIOS to do this?... Maybe your manual will tell you how? I don't see why not. Although it is a micro ATX board, it probably still has SOME kind of utility for OC'ing...
Hope that helps somehow...
