Fan speed and core temp. (Read 1029 times)

Using RivaTuner, I think I have a fan speed profile set up for my 8800GTS.  Have yet to hear an RPM increase to 60% during FS9 and my GPU core temp lunges from an idle of 42 all the way up to 45.  My Antec case has three fans besides those with the hardware - does this sound normal or what have I missed?

sounds okay to me - you can go up to 50c with most chippies.

That sounds fine....my 285 frequently gets a lot higher than that Tongue

From 42 all the way to 45?

I idle at 55 and max out above 80.

You have no problem at all.

Very cold infact.

Should overclock it.  Wink

Sounds like very good temps.
My 9800GT idles at 50C and gets to 81C under heavy load. (Auto fan setting)
