hi there,

When i'm trying to download a new set of metars (active sky 1.92) i get an error "error or timeout downloading". What could be the problem? Never had this problem before.

best regards,

best regards,

Sounds as if you do not have a internet connection, or the site is down.
Try using world weather to see if that connects if not your internet is down. If it does there is some other problem.
I use both Active Sky and Active Sky X and the only time I have had this kind of problem is when either the internet or the site was down. Cool

Maybe it is that ActiveSky 1.92 is very old and is no longer supported or they have changed the weather download format so that only under certain situations something gets sent that screws the old one up?  Curent versions are 6.5 and Activesky X.

Just guessing here.

Is the 1.92 version freeware now?

AHA!  That explains something.  This posting is in the fs2004 forum section.  I'll move it over to the fs2002 forum section.  You might get more accurate info there since people will not be assuming you are using fs2004.
