autogen going crazy! (Read 3188 times)

If these shots are un-edited, than you seem to have bigger problems than autogen! Looks like it might be a GPU heat issue. Your video card isn't overclocked is it?


well they are un-edited but my cpu is cool and and vic card is fine and problem is fine

I'm glad you're not having problems anymore. Be aware however, your video card has a processor too (GPU stands for Graphics Processing Unit) which can overheat just like a CPU, and when it does, it can cause ALL KINDS of issues like the one in those screenshots. I must admit that I personally have never seen a video card "flip out" quite like that, but given the fact that the problem seemed to stem from adding autogen to your scenery, which makes your video card work much harder, heat seemed to be the logical cause. Again, maybe it's a moot point, but it may be something to look into if the problem resurfaces.

well with the first one it was repeating things like trees so i started to roll my f-16 Grin Cheesy

Edit: and i didn't add auto gen i just replaced the textures
