I'm running FS2002 on a Sony Laptop w 8K video memory and 384K total memory. The colors are washed out & not sharp. When I move the curser down to the bottom of the screen it improves but when I try to resume the same problem occurs. Anyone have any ideas? It doesn't change even if I change the resolution & move the sliders to the left. Is it possible to increase video memory on a laptop?

A: are the colors washed out in all times, or only in FS?
B: What are your full specs (CPU, memory, GPU, etc.)

Good luck! Grin

Only in fs2002. FS98 is ok.  I am running 384K system memory, 8k graphics. 1 gig AMD Athlon cpu (I get readings ~800-850mb on a utility program) Graphics card is an API rage mobility.

If I don't use hardware acceleration I'm ok but it's at the expense of scenery quality. Can't win them all I guess.
