Found Cheap Used 14" LCD Monitor for Lower EICAS

I have finally found a used, VERY inexpensive 14.1" LCD monitor (1024 x 768) for installing in place of an old 800x600 monochrome CRT unit that was never working very well at all.  This went into the lower EICAS / GPS / Weather Radar position on the center console, located  ahead of the throttle quadrant.

In the shots below it is running a test on a FSXpand panel as I am sitting on the active at KMHT ready to head to KBOS on a quick shuttle flight.

...

Here is a little tighter shot of the center console area that shows the preliminary setup for this screen and some of the other hardware like the Goflight VRP-166's in the radio stack.  The panel mask over the general screen still has to go into place, as do some buttons to control the screen functions, the parking brake handle and so on.

...

And here is the exterior of the pit on my night flight tonight  Wink.

...

best,

...........................john

Very nice John!

Could run the weather radar next to the the EICAS and make an overlay to separate the two.
