Large logo? (Read 734 times)

Is there anywhere I can find a larger version of the logo?  Im working on a BBJ paint (just for fun) in a SimV scheme, and right now using whats up at the top of the page the logo is a small one on the tip of the tail, but Id like a bigger one in the center.  I tried stretching it but it looked really bad.

Thanks

What do you use for paint/editing? I use PSP (Paint shop Pro) and when I enlarge the logo there is no problem.  You said you stretched the logo.  This is not the exact same thing as "blowing up" or enlarging an image.

I just started using PSP today, so I dont know.  I put the copied logo into a window and then pasted the logo part onto the plane.

Hmm...

Depending on the version of PSP you use, usually you can resize an entire image with a simple toolbar command.  First make sure that the logo is in the program (Duh!).  You should probably make sure that the logo is selected around with a selection tool (they look like the dashed box and rope lasso, learn about them in help).  Once the logo is selected, go up to the top toolbar and click "Image" than look for "Resize".  From here you should see the Resize window.  The 2 main ways to resize an image are "Pixel Size" and "Percentage of Original".  Use what you like, if your not sure of a number than estimate.  You can always undo or re-resize.  IMPORTANT:  Make sure that if resizing, that the "Resize All Layers" box is unchecked (if you only want to resize the selected area).  Once the logo is resized you should be able to drag it where you want.  Hope this helps. Wink

If this has already been done than I'll have to think about it. Just let me know.          -Giteen

I almost completely forgot about this...

Due to issues with the overland textures Ive had to cancel any paints of the airbus model (alignment is horrible)  I might get back to the SimV paints someday though, most likely for POSKY models

Lol

You brought the topic up but it made me want the logo.  I still do.  In my time I work on other repaints and fly.

(Regarding Airbus: Boeing=1 Airbus=0)   Lol

Meaning what?

Just because Jake had a problem with an Airbus in the Overland series. It doesn't go to say that that is a problem with Airbus aircraft, how naive are you? If Overland have a paint kit that sucks, it probably sucks with their Boeing aircraft as well.
Why make such a petty, immature comment regarding aircraft manufacturers?
How did you know that Jake wasn't talking about repainting a POSKY Airbus?

Microsoft have crap textures on their 747, 737 and 777 series of aircraft. So according to your logic:

Airbus: 3
Boeing: 1

Why are the forums descending into completely irrelevant comments such as these?

Well its not necessarily that the paintkit sucks, I just don't know how to line it up right.  Others have had success with it, mine just didn't work.

Wow....    This post is still near the top.  Small miracle....

(Alex, I just now saw your replying post.  My little airbus comment had nothing to do with painting or even simulation.  I meant this as a general joke and I will agree that I have a little bias towards Boeing, but do you realy have to chew me up and spit me out like that?  If you insist on treating people this low than I suggest PMing them.  Also, since this seems to be upsetting to you, I will do you the personal favor of taking this airbus comment out of my profile text.  What I said in my last post reflected my profile text, not anything to do with Jake.)
