Some FS2k/2k2 aircraft are compatible. I'd take a look in our CFS downloads section to see if anything tickles your fancy Wink

...
There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

Talk to DieStaffel -- he's the one with the AF99 acft builder program.
The best I can do is modify what someone else has done; at present, I don't even have my old programs and I can't spend a lot of time so limited repaints, damage profiles and sounds are about all I could provide (and, perhaps, a mission).

Exactly what were you looking for?

[edit]As Ozzy indicates, many of the FS2k and FS2k2 add-on acft were made with AF99; many of these should work without modification.

Loads of people are still making and releasing aircraft for CFS1, Die included (see his posts in this forum).

I only fly the stock planes that came in the game these days, as do many others, for a particular aspect of the game in which I'm interested.

However, I still see sites being posted, where aircraft can be obtained for this game. Simviation is by far the largest, and probably the best known, but it's not the only one by any means.

As CFS1 is being removed from the M$ game zone in a couple of weeks you will find this kind of activity wains in proportion to the interest in the game.

Greetings,
I have finished with my last CFS1 downloads.  I made over 30 new CFS1 releases this year and by the number of downloads, it is just not worth it(only several hundred worldwide!), so I judge that CFS1 has past its use by date.  I have a few unfinished planes, but I am not inclined to finish them.

However, have fun, Sim-outhouse has all my planes here as well.

Also, aircraft made for CFS2/FS2002 and alike were made in FS Design Studio while CFS1 aircraft are made in AF99, both made by Abacus.  Now while you can add the appropriate sound files and modify the DP file to make a CFS1 plane work in CFS2(all my CFS2 planes are AF99 made), the reverse isnt possible.
It is the way CFS1 inteprets the MDL file and the attached BMP files.  Nothing can be done about it, so just move on.

Knock yourselves out.
