I was just wondering who planned on buying FS-X right away when it comes out. Personally i dont think it can replace my FS-2004 but then I may be wrong.

Yeah, that poll is interesting. It shows that half of people won't be getting it. I might get it a few months later - I want it to come down in price and want to be sure I am getting an upgrade by looking at the screenies and hearing comments.

LOL @ Saitek!!!

Dude, you're gonna be waiting for a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time before M$ even thinks of bringing down the price. And when it does go down, the release of FSXI [eleven] will just be around the corner. Grin

When Halo2 was released, My brother and I drove almost two hours to the nearest (real) mall, and stood in line for over 3 hours to get our copy. If I remember right, we didn't get home untill almost 4 am Grin

Probably own it some 5 years from now Tongue

My computer still fights with FS2002.  Don't even want to bother with FSX Roll Eyes

But maybe after I get a new job, make my trip to Taiwan, get a new truck, all the added aftermarket parts to that truck, get an appartment or house, start hopefully at the Delta Academy, and have a nice amount stashed back.  Ill build a system that can handle whatever newest FS is out there at full max Wink  If I'm going to ever build a new system I'll be damned if it wont run the newest sim at full quality Tongue

So...by the time that might happen...FSX will just get passed up.  Who knows, might finally come back into the game by FS15 Roll Eyes

Lol, popular stuff Grin

Ashar in my opinion your PC specs 'should' run FSX, but there's no telling just how bloated the FSX graphics are going to be.

Obviously there's a lot of sim crazed fanatics out there who are prepared to buy and test this new product for us. I look forward to your reports  8).

I'm with Dianna on this, I think I'll wait and see.

Same old marketing stategy and same old bugs everytime makes me exercise a bit of caution now.

Then again, it has spurred me on to get a new comp.

Did someone mention an FS11 ?  Cheesy

Regards
Jasper.
