Past Winners Video (Read 2101 times)

If this is in the wrong place, too bad.

I was really bored today, and while working on my sciencefair project (airfoils lol), I discovered how easy and fun it is to make a movie with screenshots.

So I decided that there was no better way to waste my time than to make a little video.

At first, I was going to do something with the Tomcat and "Highway to the Danger Zone", but I realized that I suck at filming.

Then I thought I would make it like a flip book, because thats how I am making the video with sci fair(you take a screenie and play it real quick, about 30fps, and voila! moving picture).  But I realized that that would fill up my computer faster than a marmalade bomb fills up a city.

So I took the screenshots from the hall of fame, added some titles and transitions, put them to a song (youll find it to be a fitting song), and, well, I made a movie!

My first FS movie, and my last unless you can convince me otherwise Wink

I relized that I can only edit.  I made a little video of the tomcat.  Ill post it when its ready, but its basically a 20 sec flip book of takeoff and flyby, with a minute of credits Roll Eyes  I had to make it really long to fit the music.  The one thing I really like is how I edited it.   It starts out coming infrom black into a really old movie style, then slowly ges newer.  Then there is a pause and fade as it transitions to the second sequence, and as the second sequence closes it gets older.  I did it to symbolize how the tomcat is old, so at takeoff, the first part of any flight, the film is extremely old.  Then, to symbolize it going away ( Cry), I made the film get old then dissappear.

Here we go:
Tomcat: A Quick Tribute
