I am advised that Rey Lopez passed away, from complications in heart surgery.  Rey was one of the quiet designers, prodcuing good airplanes.  More recently, he was producing content for Abacus.  He was a pioneer in using and developing FSDS and one of the helpful designers.

Our thoughts and prayers go to his family.

That is a shame, Rey was a great guy and a great contributer to the FS community. I had the pleasure of flying some of his helicopters, and giving advice/beta testing for an Tomcat panel he did.

Best wishes to his family. Sad

I learned last night .
Flightsim has a page set up on the front page about him. You dont have to be logged on to read it.
They have a tribute set up honoring him with over 100 downloads. You have to be logged on to use it.
I only knew him through his work. I have a lot of his beautiful work in my machine.
He gave so much hard work for our enjoyment .
He will be missed by many, even tho he is in a far better place than we are.
HE IS FLYING WITH THE ANGELS NOW.
