i have a suggestion why don't the site owners start a chat service so as to bring the members closer. Roll Eyes

We tried it once a while back and it didn't really work. It used a ton of the system and as a result caused the forum to be extremely slow. Plus, not that many people were online at once, so not that many were able to chat with each other.

In the end, it didn't really work.

. Everything froze ..

The script we were using was an add-on for yabb (these forums) & a server hog! Never heard of any site that actually uses it & the Yabb folks agree it's a gimmic.

There are in reality more efficient ways to chat on line - & many folk here do it on the various messengers, etc
