Hi,

I have Windows XP home editoin and I'm wondering how to get into the BIOS. I have tried all the F#'s, Delete, Escape during start-up and all I get is a choice between windows recovery, and normal start-up. Any help appreciated.

Awwww, crap!

As your PC boots and goes through its POST (Power On self Test) look for a message saying about running setup, CMOS chip or BIOS. Mine is:

Quote:
Hit Del if you want to run Setup

If you miss it don't be afraid to hit Reset and try again.

Usually it is the 'Delete' button like Dan says.  As soon as you have turned your pc on just keep hitting the del button and see what happens.  Pc's are gettin soo fast I just hit 'del' from the word go or I miss the opportunity to press it lol.
