can't overclock 2500+ (Read 783 times)

when i try to overclock my 2500+ my screen goes blank and i have to reset the CMOS to get display again. does anyone know how i can fix this problem? could it be something to do with my overclocked gfx card thats why there's no display?

AMD's are locked...

and watch out for getting the system bus speed too high, as these are all connected to each other and will do weird things if you have them too much over the standard specs

Not all AMDs are locked.  Locked processors usually reset the speed not cause a black screen.
