I bought it yesterday.
As you know, I'm a  big fan of complex add-ons which requires lots of manual reading.
However, with the CRJ, that's not the case.
It's not that difficult to master, even though the autopilot logic is different than the bigger jets, also the aircraft lacks an autothrottle (rightfully so, since the real CRJ's don't have it)

BUT:

The FMS (flight management system)  promised gold, but delivered copper Sad

*Navdata base is far from complete, many waypoints are missing (mostly RNAV fixes), Not many SIDs and STARs at all, and since the RNAV wpts are missing there is no chance to manually enter the SID/STAR into the MCDU, let alone typing in approaches.

* Not possible to insert PBD (place-bearing-distance) waypoints, nor PB. Haven't tried to enter Lat/Lon waypoints, but I assume that's not possible either

*Fix page is not functional

* You can't enter airways, you need to type every waypoint along your route, thanks God this aint a long range aircraft!  Smiley

The cockpit displayscreens are okay, although they are jaggy because no antialiasing is being used, I thought that was the standard nowadays?

And also, to access the various panels, you need to press SHIFT and a number (SHIFT+2 for the MCDU, for example). Too bad on the CRJ, the map range knob for the navigation display is NOT located on the glareshield panel, but on a  panel located between the pilots, so whenever you want to zoom in and out you need to press SHIFT+4 to view that panel...very disturbing I think. The product would be better with some clickable hotspots, so you don't need to use the SHIFT commands  Smiley

Sounds are excellent, the loud noise from the AC is VERY present, some even complained about it on their forum, but Feelthere has done a good job on capturing the CRJ feeling Smiley
Visual model is superb, and the textures are sweet and crisp, what to expect from payware products. LIveries are free for donwload at wilco's website!

The aircraft has some manuals bundled with it, but honestly, I don't think you'll need them that much. And besides the manuals aren't that great either.

I'll give the Feelthere CRJ200 6,5/10 points. The score would be higher if the FMS were more advanced, and the pricetag is a bit much I think.

Will post some screenies on the payware forum.

how is the viewpoint when flying from the VC? poskys VC had the gauges and numbers so small I couldnt zoom out in the VC to -75 or -50 and read the numbers... can you actually read your airspeed and altitude if you zoom out and fly in the VC? thanks

Hi Al....I can't speak for others, but I find the numbers and letter pretty hard to read in the VC unless you zoom in.
