As a nice companion to the "HOW TO" website I listed in another recent posting........ here is a great site that has detailed shots of the flight deck with a tape measure shown in most shots for establishing scale.  Great info for planning a simpit.

for some absolutely incredible documentation on the 737 and 747 aircraft.  The briefings, manual excerpts, checklists, and exterior inspection pdf files are a wealth of information both for cockpit panel construction ideas, but also for flying these aircraft.
