I downloaded Steve McClelland's CFSII Europe, which I really enjoy. However when I select a runway to take off from (in the mission builde), I’m placed some distance from the actual location of the runway.

Is there a way to re-locate the runways or re-position my plane so I can take off from the actual location? As long as I have the "Take off" option selected, I get snapped back to a runway that isn't there.  Embarrassed

Engineer. Have you added the airfield to Airbases.dat? My little tute explains the basics. http://www.simviation.com/lair/Scene2MbDb.html

I forget the finer points now but the Airbases.dat entry sets the starting position of the aircraft on a runway in missons. The heading is most important as the starting position is measured from a point some distance up the runway. One degree out either way can place you some distance from it.
