agp acceleration (Read 944 times)

hi there, how can I enable agp acceleration?I know I do it via dxdiag, but there it doesn't let me, I think my system is not reading my card as agp, althoug it is!can anyone tell me how can I make it read as agp?

Check that you are running DX9.0b and get the latest drivers for Video Card. Then see if AGP is working.

I have posted this many times in the other forums.  Make sure you have your chipset drivers or any updates installed for your motherboard.  Then go into the advanced smartgart menu and disable pci read/writes and enable AGP read/writes.  Then go into dxdiag and you should be able to enable agp acceleration.

also, you should check you bios settings to make sure the primary display adapter is set for AGP and not PCI!
