Hi all,

I've dropped this to Martin Wright's forum, too, but thought I would check here as well in case anyone has experience of this issue.

I've pretty much finished my scenery design project now and am very pleased with the end result, but have have discovered one final problem and wonder if someone can offer advice?

I tried to transfer the scenery files to my add-on-free version of CFS1 to test everything in a 'clean' environment. I picked up all the files, (including the new classlist.bgl created with MkClass) from the folder I've been working in so far and created a new folder for them in the default CFS1/scenery directory. I then activated the whole thing from Free Flight in the usual way.

However, when I went to the new scenery in the clean version of CFS, the terrain and textures were missing. My airport files (roads, taxiways, runways, etc)  from FSSC were there, but the underlying landscape created in CFSClass was not.

This was not like the issue I had before when I had failed to create a classlist file and had lots of 'water mountains' instead of textured terrain. There was just nothing there at all as far as I could tell.

I've tried recompiling all the constituent .bgl files and saving the resulting single .bgl into the new scenery folder, but to no avail.

The original files were stored in a folder outside the CFS1 folder structure - could this be at the heart of the problem? i.e., that the pathnames etc to the texture files and other underlying technology are in some way saved into the resulting files?

I'm at a bit of a loss - any suggestions?

Cheers,

Pads
