??? its your work people  ???

Im so amazed at the quality of work from you guys that I did a poll off my home town ( manchester UK )gaming sales and found that #35% of microsoft flight sim's sold was directly because of site's like this you create enviroment, planes and missions and it seems such a wast off your time when microsoft pokets the profit of your labours.

my advice is try to unite the comunity and release a product of you own

I know you all love doing this and most get personal satisfaction

but its insane not to try ...

and ashame if you dont... Sad

It is precisely because of the labour of many people giving freely of their times and talents that we all profit.

For many people, it is "payment enough"  that others download their offerings.

Perhaps a little collective income could come in good for improveing our site. I don't want to start an argument, but what do you think?

Personally, I have never liked the idea of payware products.  We have already paid for the sim itself. Why pay nearly half of what the whole simulator costs for a single aircraft or scenery that, frankly, I wouldn't download as freeware? ???

I admit that the time and energy most people put into their freeware products is phenomenal and they should get some compensation, but it defeats what I think of as the purpose behind freeware.

This is all just my conjecture, and I have no idea what I'm talking about.  Really.  Honest . . . Wink
