I just looked around, and If I found the right band, they fromed in the late 90's.  I'm glad to see someone is putting the guitar back in Rock.  What the &%#@ ever happened to the solo anyway?

People making the easy way into music buy saying 'ah we forgot the solo' on relase date Undecided
Normally i dont agree with songs without guitar/bass solos unless they realy are good.
As for The Darkness, They cool. Like the music, wouldnt buy the album. Smiley

UndecidedMusicians these days.  Thats why I'm learning the guitar, so I can put the solo, some heavy riffs, and decent lyrics back in Rock and Roll!  At least in Metal that is.

The Darkness are AMAZING!

They are actually a 2003 band and they play proper Rock not this new metal rubbish, which by the way always seems to use Arabic chord progression  ??? I saw them at Reading music festival ( the only band I liked Roll Eyes )

They are very skilled at playing the instruments and the music harks back to the bloody brilliant days of AC/DC (NOW THEY ARE THE BEST EVER Cheesy )

I put one of their songs to a video of an f-16 strutting its stuff and it fits perfectly to it. I think I'll upload it to show you how great they are.

Great Riffs, Rockin Guitar and a singer thats absolutely insane. Thats the secret to a good band.

The Darkness formed in 2001 I think....

I think they are great, don't take theselves too seriously (hence the wild clothes), and belt out some cracking riffs.

I have their album, it gets played very, very loud.  Grin

Rock on!
