I just bought combat flight simulator ww11 europe series as an introduction to flight sims and because it was cheap and i love spitfires.
The only things ive "flown" before are falcon on an old atari 520st and skyodysessy on ps2 (thats what got me interested)
Heres the problem - theres no instructions included with the game and the training missions seem to assume you already know how to get the thing off the ground.
Ive managed to complete the first two training missions but ive no idea how.
Is there a good beginners guide? Can i download idiots training missions?
Thanks in advance.

Hello Andy,
I bought CFS1 several years ago and a soft cover manual came in the box so I can't be sure about recent sales editions but I believe that the manual was included on the disc.  Check the CFS files and see if there is a file called "Manual". Perhaps that is where MicroSoft placed it.

Denis is right. My CFS1 came with a thick manual although I can't find it right now. It's possible they scrapped the idea for later editions & included the manual as a PDF file on the CFS CD instead. CFS1 Help is also excellent, much better than in the later M$ sims. The Flight Training section in CFS1 Help should give you a good start.

Well done Andy. I'm sure you will soon get the hang of it. You'll be an Ace in no time. Wink
