Last of the "Piston Engined" big props......lets not forget the Whispering Giant..........it brought me to Canada in '58 and was a turbo-prop.......

Don't forget the modern Bombardier Dash8. It's streached versions are quite large.

Harrumph - glorified turbines all ....  and even if the Dash-8 can carry as many passengers as a DC-7 ... it can't do it in the same "style"...

The last DC-7's made were for KLM

Douglas planned to close the factory earlier, but at the planned date there were still some DC-7 orders from KLM left.

 

Russian planes: IL-76 (all standard length ones),  Tu-154 and Il-62, Tu-134 and An-24RV&&&&AI flightplans and repaints can be found here
