The first B747-200 delivered was a -206 with P&W engines. Reg number PH-BUA, delivered 1971
...

somehow it managed to get in trouble, and became the first in some other categories...

First major hijacking in KLM post-war history and the first B747 to land on Malta airport (both in 1973)
fortunately, no-one was hurt in the event

Russian planes: IL-76 (all standard length ones),  Tu-154 and Il-62, Tu-134 and An-24RV&&&&AI flightplans and repaints can be found here

The 747 was actually the  by-product of research for a heavy lift transport called the CH-X. When Lockheed won the contract,  Boeing looked at their design, a "double bubble" fuselage and a mid-wing layout, and decided that they would approach the aircraft with a more conventional configuration. They took the 707 and made it bigger with the extra cabin in the "hump".
That was from a book about commertial aircraft

Some -200's were converted to -300 nose versions.

The 747-200SUD has the same MTOW, but seats more passengers in the top deck

as for paint
a 747 requires over 90 gallons of paint. Enough to paint the inside of four family houses. The paint weighs 595 lb (270 kg).

i think so... at least they wanted GE engines, but the first 4 or 5 had PW ones, they were changed to GE's afterwards when they were painted in the blue colorscheme.

and the first 747-200's had 3 windows on the top just as the 747-100 has, the later ones have 10 windows.

All KLM 747-200 (except for the crashed one)later became 747-200SUD's, which means the upper deck gets the same length as the one on the 747-300. the MTOW stays the same.
Eventually they all became a 747-200SF, a 747-200SUD with a cargo door in the nose.

Special colorschemes were:
KLM/VIASA, with on one side KLM body (White) with VIASA tail and on the other one VIASA body and KLM tail

And KLM means Koninklijke Luchtvaart Maatschappij. The oldes airline still operating under it's old name (Since 1919)
