I was just wondering what views people fly from. All but spot and cockpit view seem pretty useless to me. Cast YOUR vote now!  Cheesy

You forgot HUD view (W key) which I use most along with Spot view in all my M$ sims. I never had much use for panels. Some people regard this as cheating, especially in CFS. As I never fly online & am more interested in the development side this doesn't bother me. Tongue Wink

I'm one of those guys who likes to look at his aircraft while he's flying it and it always bothered me that an exterior "arcade" view (did I say a bad word?) hasn't  been supplied in any of the CFS series.
I enjoy the "Chase" view and use it alot, for takeoffs and landings, but its almost impossible to aim your weapons in that mode.
I know to the pure simm flyer this seem like an unholy view, but come on guys how many times have you wish you had such a view?

Quite agree when it comes to views, denishc, some planes look really good from the outside especially a Reeves RAA L82k, a four turbo-prop engine commercial plane that flies like a bird and the props are really life-like in that you cut engines and props slow down as opposed to instant stop also same when starting engines. So, I use different views when flying and when on the ground. Chase seems a quick way to view plane from outside, use it on occasions. I mainly like flying from A to B and only combat no and again, also like designing airfields but am new to it, but getting better. Would also like commercial airfields in CFS. Flight Sim 2000 costs too much and with the add ons I'm no mug!
Happy flying.
