Hello All,

I did a repaint of my Baron last night and when I repainted the Virtual cabin I get certain areas that I can see right through the paint!
I assume that this has something to do with the Alpha channel but has anyone experienced this before?

Thanks

...

The outside looked ok though...

Hi cherokee

The only  'transparency' problem I found when I was painting was one that Pete alerted us all to some time ago. You can't put reflective textures on an FSDS(1) design - they go transparent. Refl textures only work on GMax (and FSDS2?).

Don't suppose this has anything to do with what you're doing though.

BUT - if you paint ANYTHING pure black it is transparent - I think that's what you've done.

did you use a 0-0-0 black color (or palette index 0) in the image?

that one is usually tagged to transparent (at least) since FS98.
